Summer Pool Party!

Summer temps are here, ladies (if you are in St. Louis, you KNOW what I'm talking about)!  I love pool parties, from fun summer decor, cute cover ups and signature cocktails, to trendy summer accessories and summer salads- its just so fun!

If I'm being totally honest, its the good company and fun party snacks and drinks I look forward to the most.  I am a summer salad JUNKY.  I love trying fun new salad recipes in the summer and the ever popular "Jennifer Aniston Tik Tok Salad" was on my list!  I used @EatingBirdFood's recipe, and it did not disappoint!  The fresh mint and parsley make this salad fresh and so good on a hot day!

What's a party without a signature cocktail?  We are loving this Pink Vodka Watermelon lemonade from @halfbakedharvest.  When I am looking for a new recipe Tieghan is my girl! Refreshing and perfect for a summer pool party! I love anything watermelon for summer!  If you happen to be local, we will be serving this delight at our Summer Party this Friday and Saturday at the shop.  FACEBOOK EVENT

Now, let's chat cute party decor!  Ladies- this cute backdrop was so easy and about $10! A quick visit to your local dollar store is all you need. I stopped and grabbed 9 fun bright floaty tubes and some packing tape. Then just stick them up to your wall! Super simple and only took 5 mins. 

Of course I love a party outfit!  Getting dressed up is fun and we have so many fun and lightweight summer looks that work for a summer party or as swim suit coverups.  Jill Moore with @calihoo  is an accessory EXPERT!  She has the most incredible curated collection and she will be popping up at our summer event this Friday and Saturday, also!  She picks the most fun pieces for every outfit!
